Our wooden needle collection brings together a diverse range of beautiful woods from around the world. Selected wooden needle ranges are carefully hand-sanded and polished in our UK workshop, refining each piece for a smooth, comfortable finish. We also work with skilled artisans and trusted manufacturers across India, China, Thailand and beyond, combining traditional craftsmanship with our own attention to detail.

Beyond needles, we are gradually expanding our collection to include handcrafted knitting kits, thoughtfully designed craft accessories. We love connecting different forms of craftsmanship that share the same values: patience, artistry, and respect for handmade work.

Birch

One of the most widely used woods in knitting tools, birch is valued for its lightweight and versatile nature.

Stabilised Wood

Stabilised wood is specially treated to enhance strength and resistance to humidity and movement.
The result is a highly durable material with consistent performance and a smooth knitting surface. It combines the beauty of natural wood with modern stability, making it reliable across different climates and conditions.
Ebony

Ebony is prized for its exceptional density and durability. We use Indian ebony, which features a rich dark brown tone that deepens in character over time. Its naturally smooth surface allows stitches to glide effortlessly, while the weight provides excellent stability and precision.
With continued use, the wood becomes even smoother and develops a beautiful, natural sheen.
Snakewood

Snakewood is renowned for its exceptionally high density and striking, intricate grain. Its deep reddish-brown base is naturally interwoven with dark, snake-like patterns, making every piece truly one of a kind. Red Pearwood

Warm and smooth to the touch, with rich, full-bodied colour and a comfortable, well-balanced weight for long knitting sessions. Carefully hand-sanded and polished for a silky-smooth finish, it develops an even warmer, more refined feel with use.
Green Sandalwood

Known for its distinctive natural colour, ranging from yellow-green to olive green, with a fine, subtle grain. Its dense yet resilient wood offers a comfortable, well-balanced feel in the hand, along with a delicate natural woody fragrance. Its fine texture provides excellent yarn control, making it particularly well suited to slippery yarns compared with some other wooden needles.
Gold-Star Sandalwood

Featuring distinctive golden grain that catches the light with a natural shimmer.
